Legal practice runs on duties other industries do not carry — confidentiality, conflicts, and trust accounting are obligations with rules behind them, not features with settings. MCV.LAW is being designed with domain counsel so those rules are encoded in the workflow itself, not documented beside it.
The direction is set: conflict checks at intake, access-controlled matter vaults with full audit history, and a programmatic three-way trust reconciliation on a cadence. What is not set is a date — the counsel lane ships when the workflows survive review, and this page will say so when they do.
One boundary is stated plainly: MCV.LAW is an agent-only lane. Codex Counsel — intake quality, matter progression, trust-aware workflows, deadline and obligation tracking — is the agent in design, asking of every matter: is this matter moving correctly, and is every obligation visible? There are no hardware kits, no physical organism, and nothing to install on site.
