Scaffold is the adaptive field OS for construction networks — designed to turn every job site into a fully instrumented, real-time field organism for progress, safety, crew coordination, equipment utilization, and method improvement, even in harsh, changing, low-connectivity environments. The job site is temporary; the organism is designed for rapid deploy, rapid teardown, and rapid redeploy across a portfolio of projects.

Scaffold Field is the named primary agent on live sites. Its mandate: field progress vs plan, safety observations, crew coordination, equipment utilization, and method improvement — direct, rugged, and optimized for clarity in noisy, fast-moving environments.
Rollout honesty
MCV.BUILD is in staged rollout. The field OS, agent team, and hardware kits described here are designed capability, being deployed progressively with early partners — not a generally shipped product.

A rugged Edge Node — fanless or filtered, wide temperature, shock and vibration rated — with industrial networking and high-endurance power runs local Mesh, local Synapse, local policy, and the critical agent runtime, with Scaffold Field and Sentinel at high priority.
Wearables & presence
Site access control, geofenced mobile credentials, crew check-in with strong presence verification, and wearable panic and man-down devices for high-risk trades make crew and equipment presence first-class signals — while subcontractor boundaries stay respected.
Harsh-environment sensing
Rugged cameras cover entries, high-risk work zones, crane and lift areas, and temporary structures, with on-edge models for PPE detection, fall risk, and unsafe behavior. Environmental sensors track gas, noise, dust, and temperature where required — because dust, vibration, temperature, power instability, and intermittent connectivity are the baseline, not the exception.
